Bowenwork, also known as the Bowen Technique, or Bowtech, is a system of muscle and connective tissue therapy that was developed by the late Thomas Bowen of Geelong, Australia. It uses small, gentle movements over specific locations on the body to stimulate the body’s own healing, and is safe and appropriate for everyone, from newborns to the very elderly and frail.
After your session, some changes are noticeable right away. Reduced pain, increased range-of-motion, and a greater sense of relaxation and well-being are often reported. Just some of the conditions which can be treated with Bowenwork are:
traumatic or sports injuries
back, neck, shoulder and knee pain
digestive conditions/GERD, reflux

The first method of energy healing in which I was trained was reiki. Reiki (pronounced ray – key) is derived from the Japanese words “Rei” which means Universal Spirit, and “Ki” meaning the life energy that flows through all living things. It promotes relaxation and healing.
Ancient Rainbow Conscious Healing, or ARCH, is an ancient method using Divine Source energy for healing and transformation. Described as “a quantum leap beyond reiki,” ARCH is derived from the centuries-old healing techniques used by the Kahuna (shaman priests) of old Hawaii. ARCH works on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. For more information on ARCH, go to www.archhealing.com. There are many documented cases of recovery from conditions both major and minor using energy healing. It is important to remember however, that healing results cannot be guaranteed.

Distance Healing is the transmission of Universal Energy to an individual in another location. At a pre-arranged time, the therapist directs energy to the recipient who is sitting or lying still, and who is open to receive the healing energy being sent their way.
After a session of energy healing, whether at a distance or in person, it is typical for the recipient to feel reduced or eliminated symptoms and a sense of peace, harmony and balance. In addition to Energy Healing, Bowenwork can also be performed at a distance with great success.
In ancient times, massage was an essential element in the practice of medicine. Current research shows massage is again becoming mainstream as people search for methods of health care without troubling side effects.
Whether seeking relief from a medical condition, searching for a way to deal with the stresses of daily life or wanting to maintain good health, more and more Americans are turning to therapeutic massage. Massage doesn’t simply feel good. Research shows it reduces heart rate, lowers blood pressure, increases circulation and lymph flow, relaxes muscles, improves range of motion, and increases endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers.
